Livett’s Coffee Shop: Opening on 26 February

The creative arts and hospitality team behind Leeds institution The Wardrobe have announced Livett’s Coffee Shop, a brand new on-the-go coffee shop within the heart of Leeds’ cultural quarter.

To celebrate its grand opening, Livett’s Coffee Shop will be giving away hundreds of free coffees throughout its first week. Each morning, the first 25 customers through the door will be given their coffee on the house.

The location is a haven inspired by visionary Leeds architect R.A.H Livett (OBE), renowned for his commitment to creating practical housing and vibrant public spaces that encouraged a sense of community. Nestled on the historic grounds of Quarry Hill, Livett’s Coffee Shop pays homage to that legacy by offering a better choice for busy city dwellers seeking ethically sourced, sustainably produced coffee and tasty bites.

Sourcing their coffee from local favourites North Star, organic milk from sustainably powered farms as well as pastries and brownies supplied by Baltzersens & Blond and Brown, Livett’s Coffee Shop is committed to sourcing the very best sustainable produce for their customers.

Ryan North, General Manager:

“We are buzzing to bring Livett’s Coffee Shop to the cultural quarter of Leeds. We have worked hard to find the best in beans, machines and suppliers to give you a great range of drinks and snacks whilst being as sustainable as possible. With our coffee coming from North Star, the best bakes from Bakerei Baltzersens and Brown & Blond, we are sure you’ll find it hard not to pop in.”

The new opening isn’t the only cause for celebration within the city’s Cultural Quarter as Livett’s sister company The Wardrobe is celebrating its 25th birthday in 2024 with a year-long series of events, promotions, parties and gigs.

Livett’s Coffee Shop is set to open on Monday, 26th February at 8am.
