In May, we told you about the latest rotation of food traders at Trinity Kitchen. One of the traders, Otherside Fried Chicken, is delighted with their success and is now preparing, as Neighbourhood Fried Chicken, to offer deliveries from its base at Potters at Northlight Arts Centre.
What the critics had to say about NFC at Trinity:
“BLOODY EXCELLENT” Simon Fogal (Leeds Indie Food, Chow Down, Eat North)
“Food was amazing …. Sooooo Good!” Mark Wheelwright, Aire Street Studio
“…..we had to see what the plant-based options were all about, and they didn’t disappoint. Get yourself down there for a Friday treat…” Leeds List
“We both loved it. Super delicious (one of the best I’ve had, and fried chicken is one of my favourite foods)” Dr Gemma Bridge, Running Mayor of West Yorkshire

The new food brand was created by a Leeds-based partnership, one of whom, Andrew Critchett, has a track
record of successful street food businesses. Andrew was previously awarded Best Main Dish at the British Street Food Awards. He collaborated with Paul Simon, Founder of Potter’s at Northlight Arts Centre, to develop Otherside’s menu and brand. Now, the pair have decided on a name change to Neighbourhood Fried Chicken coinciding with the launch of the delivery service.
