Popeyes® UK, the home of Famous Louisiana Chicken, has announced that it will be opening a delivery kitchen in Leeds next week.
After much anticipation, chicken fans in Leeds City Centre and the surrounding areas will soon be able to get their hands on the chicken sandwich that broke the internet, with Popeyes® UK confirming its opening date of Wednesday 8th May.
Bringing a taste of New Orleans to Leeds, Popeyes® UK will be available for delivery throughout Leeds City Centre via ordering direct through the Popeyes® website, on Uber Eats or Just Eat*. Elsewhere, 2024 is set to be another big year for Popeyes® as it continues its nationwide rollout with 30 new locations, including London Waterloo Station, Glasgow Sauchiehall Street, and its first Drive-Thru in Manchester which launched earlier this week.
With the closest Popeyes® currently in Barnsley, the announcement officially marks Popeyes’® first foray into Leeds, and promises to be the beginning of an exciting journey for the much-loved brand in the region.
Popeyes® will open the delivery kitchen on Wortley Moor Road, and will mark the brand’s 4th delivery kitchen opening in 2024, and the chain’s 48th location since landing in the UK in November 2021.
Chicken fans can be in with a chance of winning the ultimate prize of free Chicken Sandwiches for a year if they order from the delivery kitchen on opening day. Orange tickets will be placed in the bags of 3 lucky customers – one from each of Popeyes website, Uber Eats and Just Eat, so customers are advised to get ordering on opening day
That’s not all. Ahead of the launch, Popeyes will be giving away 100 free Chicken Sandwiches to selected winners when they sign up via: https://popeyesuk.com/leeds-delivery-kitchen.
Leeds will be able to experience Popeyes® world-famous shatter crunch for themselves once they get their hands on the mouth-watering menu, including the iconic Popeyes® Chicken Sandwich which contains its signature 12-hour marinated chicken and original Southern biscuits and gravy.
