UB40’s Unstoppable world tour and reggae mega-bill will call at Leeds with support from Maxi Priest and Aswad.
UB40’s Unstoppable World Tour reaches home shores this summer, following a string of successful European shows and the band’s sold-out global run last year. The legendary British reggae act will return to the UK with their riotous live show to perform catalogue classics alongside brand-new tracks from their forthcoming studio album, Unstoppable, set for release later this year.

The 2026 UK Summer tour will see UB40 perform in Brighton, Cardiff, London, Manchester, Nottingham, Hull, Glasgow, Liverpool, Leeds, Swansea, Plymouth and Bournemouth, before culminating with a glorious return to their hometown in Birmingham. The band’s new album, Unstoppable, will be the first since 2024 release UB45, which saw them return to the UK Top 5 Album Charts and pick up critical acclaim worldwide, celebrating 45 years at the top of their game.
UB40 remain the country’s most successful reggae act of all time, having proudly sold over 100 million albums around the world and achieving 50 UK Top 40 singles alongside 11 Top 10 albums. Formed in Birmingham in 1978, the iconic Brummies’ cultural and musical impact cannot be overstated, having won the hearts and minds of multiple generations of fans both at home and abroad.

That party will see special guests Maxi Priest and Aswad support, uniting three behemoths of the scene for an unmissable celebration of the reggae genre. Multi Grammy Award winning British artist Maxi Priest is perhaps best known for his huge hits Close To You and Top 5 single Wild World, a cover of the Cat Stevens’ classic. He is second only to Bob Marley as the genre’s all-time leading solo artist. Three-time Grammy nominees Aswad boast a career that spans no fewer than four decades. The fellow British icons have enjoyed mammoth chart success with hits like Don’t Turn Around and Shine. They have been recognised for their Outstanding Contribution to Music by MOBO.
