The Hundred: Northern Superchargers and BBC Music Introducing – Early Bird ticket prices only until Tuesday 1 July

Yorkshire-born artists take centre stage as The Hundred returns to Headingley this summer.

As The Hundred returns for another season of world-class cricket fused with live music and entertainment, the Northern Superchargers’ home stadium will play host to a lineup packed with exciting Yorkshire-grown talent, thanks to the competition’s continued partnership with BBC Music Introducing.

The 2025 music line-up celebrates four standout local acts who each bring something unique to the Headingley stage. York-based indie rock band Glass Caves, known for their busking roots and explosive festival appearances including Reading and Leeds, kick things off on the 7th of August, when the Northern Superchargers will welcome Welsh Fire.

Next up is Litany, the Harrogate-born pop artist whose debut album ‘Sadgirl’ spawned viral singles like ‘Bedroom’ and ‘My Dude’, bringing her emotionally candid style to Headingley on the 15th of August.

On 23rd August, Wakefield’s Oliver Pinder, originally from Bradford, will showcase his evolution from indie-folk to alt-pop, armed with tracks from his debut EP ‘Potential, I Guess?’.

Closing the series on the 26th of August is Leeds-based multi-instrumentalist Spielmann. Known for his punchy indie-pop sound, he played, recorded, produced, and mixed all aspects of his debut EP ‘Fifteen Minutes With Spielmann’

All of these artists will perform live before the first ball and again during the mid-match interval, creating a festival-style atmosphere that’s become a signature of The Hundred.

Northern Superchargers’ Captain Hollie Armitage added: “The Hundred has such a brilliant atmosphere and the live music is a big part of that. It’s great to see some amazing Yorkshire talent on the line-up – it adds something special to our home fixtures at Headingley.”

And while the spotlight is firmly on Yorkshire’s own artists, fans can also look forward to a special headline appearance from global pop star Perrie. Her live performance at the Hundred Final at Lord’s on the 31st of August is set to be one of the season’s highlights.

About The Hundred:

The Hundred is an action-packed, unmissable cricket competition that fuses world-class cricket with blockbuster entertainment.

Combining a short, fast format of cricket, with each game lasting less than three hours, and incredible entertainment beyond the sport, The Hundred is making cricket more accessible and reaching a broader audience. It’s simple: 100 balls per team, most runs wins, so every ball counts.

The Hundred features eight teams from seven cities, with men’s and women’s competitions taking place side by side:  Welsh Fire (Cardiff), Southern Brave (Southampton), Northern Superchargers (Leeds), London Spirit, Trent Rockets (Nottingham), Oval Invincibles (London), Manchester Originals and Birmingham Phoenix. Each teams features some of the best international and domestic cricketers from around the world, including England Men’s & Women’s World Cup winners.

This year’s Headingley fixtures include:

  • Thursday 7th August vs Welsh Fire – The action begins against last year’s women’s runners-ups and men’s sixth-placed sides. The opener promises to be an unmissable night, with enhanced entertainment to welcome fans back to Headingley in style.
  • Friday 15th August vs Birmingham Phoenix – A chance for the men’s team to avenge last season’s loss, and the women’s team to build on their emphatic 61-run win.
  • Saturday 23rd August vs Oval Invincibles – A major test against the competition’s most successful side. The Invincibles women and men have each won The Hundred twice, with the men chasing a third consecutive title in 2025, so expect an intense battle!
  • Tuesday 26th August vs Manchester Originals – A fierce derby clash with local pride on the line to close out the home campaign. The Superchargers men will look to replicate last year’s win in Manchester, while the women aim to overturn a narrow defeat.

The 2025 Superchargers squads include returning fan favourites Harry Brook, Adil Rashid, Kate Cross, and Davina Perrin, bringing a mix of star power and experience to the side.
