Live at Leeds In The City have shared the full line-up for their 17th edition taking place later this year.
Live at Leeds In The City, being held in November for the first time, will host over one-hundred artists across the West Yorkshire city’s famed independent venues, for an essential showcase of the very best in new music.
Leading the announcement is New York soft rock sibling quartet Infinity Song, alternative indie multi instrumentalist Marika Hackman and Oxford-born songwriter Willey J Healy, amongst a host of the country’s most anticipated upcoming artists completing the final lineup for this year’s festival.
They join previously announced avant-garde Manchester rockers Everything Everything, contemporary indie troupe The K’s, singer-songwriter and rising-star Alfie Templemann, rap and grime MC Casisdead, mighty Wrexhamites The Royston Club, and Leeds’ own Mercury Prize winning outfit English Teacher (main image).
Live at Leeds In The City will also mark the first hometown show for English Teacher since winning the Mercury Prize win for their critically acclaimed debut record ‘This Could Be Texas’. The band opened last year’s festival, performing at The Wardrobe to a capacity audience. Having flown the flag for the vibrant selection of artists Leeds has to offer, English Teacher return to their roots this autumn to top the bill at the award winning festival.
Committed to supporting artists in Leeds, Live at Leeds has added a number of the City’s most exciting new artists to this year’s line-up with the likes of Jellyskin, Spielmann, Claudia Fenoglio, Wolforna, Kiosk and many more.
A long-running mainstay on the Leeds cultural calendar, over several years the Live At Leeds team have built a trusted reputation for championing new music; both in discovering and nurturing national grassroots talent, and also their steadfast commitment to platforming local artists from the West Yorkshire area, handing them their very first opportunities to perform in front of capacity festival crowds.

I’m super happy with the artists, venues and partners who make up this poster, and having newly crowned Mercury winners English Teacher up there really tops it off. I honestly can’t wait to watch it all unfold in November, always the highlight of the year.”
