York-based Blues, Funk and Soul band Studio 77 announce their debut single for digital release across all platforms on 6th April 2026. Listen here.
Recorded at Young Thugs Studio in York – High into the night originated, as most of Studio 77’s songs do, with Andy and James playing around with chords and melodies at James’ house (No. 77).
The chords had an atmospheric feeling and gave rise to the lyrics of following an ethereal figure into the night.
As always, the song came alive when they brought it to the rest of the band (Josh and George), giving it the alternative bluesy and soulful sound.
Studio 77 have recently been focussed on recording tracks, including a 4 track EP, to be released in the coming months. High into the night is track 1. Listen here.
