Newsam Park – Finally!

The team behind Newsam Park Open Air Festival must be relieved that, after having to delay the Festival 3 times, it’s now going ahead on 21 August. Yes, it really is!

The complete and final lineup, securing the very best DJs possible, could only be revealed after weeks of late nights and endless phone calls. The changes were necessary owing to the repeated postponements – and it’s amazing that much of the original lineup remains the same. Some DJs were already committed to playing other events, but the hard work has paid off.

Newsam Park’s Team: “We truly appreciate your support and patience, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sticking with us – we cannot wait to see you down the front. You can be assured that the vibes will be just as live down at the park when we do meet.”

It’s a great setting for a great event – amongst the rolling green hills and lush trees. There’ll be two specially designed stages with next-level light, sound and visuals ensuring the time of your life.

Firstly, The Garden Stage just got even better with the news that Romanian minimal master Rhadoo will be stepping up with his cultured bag of stripped-back techno sounds. Next to him, the stage will be headlined by Drumcode label head and enduring techno titan Adam Beyer in place of Jamie Jones. He is a superstar of the genre who will bring his a-game and be joined by Cocoon’s iconic party starter Sven Vath, plus Fuse mainstay Enzo Siragusa, and much loved local heroes and Mint Residents Annie Errez and Bobby ODonnell.

The second and final change is Palms Traxx stepping in for Nightmares on Wax and Dan Shake. The Dekmantel favourite and NTS host has a bottomless bag of tricks that takes in the most authentic Chicago house, dazzling disco and irresistible funk and soul sounds around. The same stage also welcomes colourful beat maker Denis Sulta, Warehouse Music boss and party-starting DJ Mella Dee who plays a special DJ set that will span world house and beyond.

When Newsam Park finally comes around it will be an all-out celebration you will never forget.
